The Mission

Business Review's new annual publication "Supporting Local Businesses ... Strengthening Our Community", is a free standing, self-mailing brochure. The mission of this year's publication is to inform consumers about the importance of patronizing their local businesses. We are promoting the fact that by supporting businesses in the area, your customers are strengthening their community by making sure the money they are spending for goods and services goes right back into the area they live in.

Benefits of "Supporting Local Businesses...Strengthening Our Community"

  • Your company is an exclusive in your field.
  • The ads are written like a news article or story about your business. We are letting the community know what makes you special and what sets you apart from your competition.
  • We do all the work for you: write ad; art work; lay-out; label; tab; etc.
  • We purchase the mailing list which is updated every 4 weeks.
  • Postage and Distribution - If you mail 3,000 out yourself postage alone could cost over $1300.00
  • We mail these out to home and business owners with income levels of $100,000 - $200,000 and up (depending on the area). By using this selection process we are actually hand picking over 3,000 people in your area who have the financial means to use your services. We are not wasting your audience and yet we are still keeping it cost effective.
  • But we don't stop there. Business Review can help even more consumers connect with you through offering an internet presence. We put your information along with a link to your website directly on our website after the edition has been mailed.
  • Give extra copies to the participating businesses so they can distribute them as well.

On the Back Cover ... Reasons and Facts to Support Local Businesses

Local businesses are an essential element of, and major contributor to the strength of local economies. First of all, we are not only talking about locally owned businesses, we are talking about local businesses, a business that is operated out of, or serves a particular community. They employ our friends and neighbors, use the goods and services of other local businesses, serve as community hubs and are vital components of healthy neighborhoods.

When consumers patronize local businesses, they are essentially giving money back to their local community. A thriving local business will generate high levels of revenue, which means that the business will pay higher taxes, including local taxes. This money is then used for local police and fire departments as well as some schools. In this ever changing world, communities that preserve their one-of-a-kind businesses and distinctive character provide the building blocks to future growth, safety and beauty of the community in which you live!
